I’m Benedict — Ben, to most people. I’m based in Vancouver, BC, and I started this site because I was tired of financial advice written by nobody, for nobody: generic articles stuffed with the same recycled tips, with no real person behind them and no actual experience to back it up.

I’m not a financial advisor, and I’m not pretending to be one. What I am is someone who’s spent the last several years actually building income outside a regular paycheck — and learning, often the hard way, what works and what’s just noise.

What I’ve Actually Built

I run a small online business ecosystem, built piece by piece through trial, error, and a lot of late nights:

  • VitaNorth — a health and wellness e-commerce store I built from scratch with zero prior dropshipping experience. I sourced products, set up Shopify, figured out payments, and learned the entire process of running an online store in real time.
  • A 30+ title catalog on Amazon KDP — published under my own name, covering relationships, money, wellness, personal growth, and business. I wrote, edited, designed, and published every one of them myself.
  • BenFerrer Digital — my line of ebooks, AI prompt packs, and planners, moving to a dedicated storefront at moderndigitalmarket.com (with the existing catalog also available on Payhip).
  • This site, and its sister site on health and wellness (pbcare4health.com) — built and grown through actual SEO work, real content, and a lot of trial and error figuring out what genuinely helps readers versus what just fills space.

None of this makes me an expert in the traditional sense. What it makes me is someone with real, current, hands-on experience in the exact things I write about.

Why I Write PBroad2Riches

Most personal finance content falls into two camps: dry textbook advice that assumes you already have money to manage, or hype-driven “get rich” content that’s mostly noise.

I wanted something in between — practical, honest, and grounded in things I’ve actually tried. When I write about side hustles, it’s because I’ve built and tested several of them. When I write about budgeting or financial resets, it’s based on what’s actually worked for me, not theory I read somewhere else.
